Elisabeth Elo is the author of North of Boston, chosen by Booklist as a Year’s Best Crime Novel Debut. She has been fearlessly crossing genres for years, earning several pseudonyms along the way. In addition to publishing suspense novels as Elisabeth Elo, she has published humor under the name Elisabeth Brink, and short stories and scholarly articles under the name Elisabeth Panttaja. As Liza Tully, she has a traditional mystery novel forthcoming. Elisabeth attended Brown University and earned a PhD in English from Brandeis. She worked as a children’s magazine editor, a high-tech marketer, and a halfway house counselor before turning to fiction. She lives with her family in Brookline, Massachusetts.
